Winner of four top Thailand property awards Raimon Land is now ready to launch three major projects in the coming quarter.

"While the market will ne challenging next year because of global; conditions, we should still be able to secure healthy sales," says Raimon Land CEO Nigel Cornick.

"We will be launching 185 Rachadamri,Amalfi in Phuket and The Edge in Pattaya," syas director of marketing and sales Henri Young.

"One of the key areas will come from new markets such as Russia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East," Cornick says.

Domestic buyers also form a core of key buyers for Raimon projects such as The River, which had sold almost 60 percent of its stock that has a combined worth of Bt15 billion.

"We have sold more than Bt9 billion River units," Cornick says.

"When we started a year ago, many property players warned that we were on the wrong side of the river," he recalls.

"Today you don't hear that anymore. When the show units were built at the riverfront site and people were able to see the views, they quickly realized we were very much on the right side."

The company swept four categories at the third Thailand Property Awards last month including "Best Developer" and two best condominium awards for Phuket and Pattaya. The fourth award was for "best website".

In the first year on the awards, Raimon took just one trophy for the website.

Last year, it took three awards including best developer. In his acceptance speech Cornick attribute the success of the firm to "doing things right from the start".

"If you do everything right from the beginning, it leaves little room for errors later on," he says referring to picking the right locations and the right kind of projects that would generate strong demand from buyers and investors.
