Raimon Land Launches Ferry for its Prestigious Bangkok’s Condo Development

Luxury property developer Raimon Land has launched The River Boat, an exclusive 45-berth vessel to ferry potential investors and ultimately residents to Bangkok’s premier condominium project, The River.

Raimon Land commissioned Bangkok-based Siam Boatworks to construct a contemporary craft that matches The River’s concept of luxury living on the Chao Phraya River. The 18-metre modern launch cruiser, powered by two Volvo Penta engines, is decked out in Italian leather.

Raimon Land Chief Executive Officer, Nigel J Cornick, said the vessel currently serves three purposes: sales, functions and branding. “The Bangkok skytrain is one of the most convenient ways to get to this area of the city and The River Boat will take people directly from the Saphan Taksin station to The River,” Mr Cornick said.

In the future, the role of the vessel will be to enable residents to quickly and comfortably access riverside amenities and services such as transport, hotel restaurants, shops and schools.

“The boat will eventually be controlled by the residents themselves, and they will decide where and what it can be used for. For a residential building on a waterway, a boat is essential to be able to experience ‘The River Lifestyle” Mr Cornick added.
