Company to offer a condominium at The River to the first player to shot hole in one

Condominium Developer Raimon Land is Official Partner of the Johnnie Walker Classic 2007

Raimon Land is pleased to announce its support of the Johnnie Walker Classic 2007, to take place March 1-4 at the Blue Canyon Country Club in Phuket.

The Johnnie Walker Classic attracts one of the best fields of players assembled in the Asia Pacific region every year, drawing from the best international, world-ranked players from Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA.

They compete for what has been one of the biggest prizes in golf in Asia Pacific, with a total purse estimated for 2007 of ?1.25m (baht 82.6 million) and an estimated winner's check of ?208,333 (Baht 13.8 million).

This year, however, thanks to Raimon Land’s involvement things will be even more interesting for the world’s top golfers. Raimon Land will offer a condominium at The River to the first player to shoot a hole in one on the challenging 17th hole during the tournament.

The River is Raimon Land’s latest luxury development along the majestic Chao Praya River in Bangkok. The brainchild of world-renowned designer Hans Brouwer, The River is widely expected to become Bangkok’s next icon and a landmark for South East Asia.

Raimon Land CEO Mr. Nigel Cornick commented: “The Johnnie Walker Classic is a world class tournament, attracting world class players so it is only befitting that we offer them a world class prize.”
