BANGKOK; August 5, 2010 - Luxury property developer Raimon Land continues its efforts to improve the environment in Thailand by meeting up with Plant A Tree Today (PATT) Foundation in Baan Sap Tai, Khao Yai National Park to plant new trees.

Kwanrudee Maneewongwattana, Raimon Land's Deputy Vice President of Corporate Communications and Branding, underlined the company's commitment to eco-friendly initiatives: "We fully recognize the gravity of environmental issues facing the world today. In addition to reducing the carbon footprint of our own projects, we also see the need to make further positive contributions such as this to directly address the problem at hand."

Plant A Tree Today Foundation Founder and Director Andrew G. Steel added, "PATT has had the pleasure of working with Raimon Land since we first established in Thailand in 2008. This latest collaboration represents our collective desire to tackle the issue of climate change and encourage sustainable development in the kingdom."

A sizable contingent of Raimon Land employees and clients took part in this trip to Khao Yai having previously visited Baan Sap Tai with PATT to educate children on environmental issues and supported the establishment of a tree nursery for growing saplings. Additionally, the company has been a long-time advocate of many environmental sustainability projects, one of which is the lifetime sponsorship of an elephant calf, dubbed 'Pang Raimon', in northern Thailand.
